Antidiarrheal Uses Relieves cramps in diarrhea; reduces the number and improves the consistency of loose, watery bowel movements. Directions Shake well before each use. Take the full recommended dose at first sign of diarrhea and after each subsequent bowel movement. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours. Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablespoons. Children 6 to under 12 years: 1 tablespoon. Children 3 to under 6 years: 1/2 tablespoon. Children under 3 years: ask a doctor.
